KICK START YOUR CHILD’S JOURNEY
ALL ABOUT YOUR TRIAL CLASSES.
All About Your Trial
When you sign up your child for a trial at Combat Club, the first class will always be a bespoke, small introductory class. Following that class your child will be invited to join one of our regular Foundation Program classes.
You will have 2 weeks to try out classes. We want to ensure that all students and families are a good fit for our program. When families see that Combat Club will meet the goals they have for their child, the program will work.

This is a home away from home. A place where I feel safe and secure to learn without judgement or attachment to outcome. Here I have been challenged and accepted, tested and loved.

As a student here at Combat Club it’s one of the best thing my parents did for me. I learn how to me more confident in tough situation. as a highschooler I’m able to stand up for myself and my friends, and not worry about how to handle a problem through expression and words. as a bounse I got an A in gym for being fit. thank you Combat Club.

Excellent place for children and young adults to learn new life skills based on everyday situations that kids face. Very practical, fun and easy to learn technics that levels the playing field in their favor against Bullys. The Combat Club is a must try for any child and parent that’s interested in introducing a new mindset and discipline for self defense that will definitely help them develop confidence, focus, awareness, responsibility, and a new found respect for themselves and others around them.

The instructors are passionate about raising strong adults and work with kids on a daily basis. The classes are designed to provide the tools needed to overcome real-world challenges in a safe, social, and supportive environment. Kids and youth are not only taught to physically protect themselves, they learn life skills like self-confidence, resilience, hard work, discipline, respect, personal responsibility, conflict communication, social skills, and dealing with confrontations as well.

It has been amazing to see my son develop, learn the techniques, and become more aware and focused over the last year. I look forward to seeing how he continues to grow throughout the Combat Club and into the Blackbelt program

I have been going to this school for 8-9 months now and I absolutely love everything about it. The instructors are very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. They have created a safe learning environment where you can learn self defense, a skill that I believe is crucial for living in NYC and feeling safe. I honestly couldn’t recommend this school more, if you are looking for self defense classes that are fun and effective, then look no further!

I’ve been a member of KMI for a year and I’m hooked for good. I’ve always wanted a realistic method for self-defense that you can benefit from immediately – krav maga is it, and KMI makes it a true pleasure to train. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and patient and the classes are an ideal mix of strength training and technique practice. I highly recommend the school to anyone who is interested in krav maga – whether you are new to martial arts or whether you’d like to try something different that will work on the street.

I had heard about Krav Maga and decided to purchase a groupon for Krav Maga Institute. I ended up waiting almost a year to go to class for the first time, but wish I had went right away. I’ve learned so much and met so many great people in my 2 1/2 years now training with them.
The instructors are first rate and passionate about teaching and are friendly and approachable as well. Initially, I thought I only cared about joining to learn more about self defense and fighting, but have lost over 20lbs and am now part of this whole other community. I attend sparring regularly and am confident that I’m much better equipped to handle myself outside of class if I ever needed to. If you want to learn how to defend yourself practically in a laid back environment that’s about learning I highly recommend KMI.

I would definitely commit myself to this in the next couple of years. I wish I had found out about this sooner.

COMBAT CLUB TEACHING METHODS
Combat Club is unique in that all of its instructors are professional instructors, hand picked and built from the ground up. Candidates are interviewed, tested, retrained and supervised carefully for several years. Instructors undergo full background checks, they are carefully vetted and tested in all aspects of the Krav Maga system and their ability to teach. They all undergo personality tests and teaching assessments .
If candidates pass their instructor certification, they undergo a 2 year probationary period during which time they must complete a minimum number of teaching hours, Combat Club continuation training, certification and testing.
Combat Club NYC holds some of the highest instructor and training standards in the world. A KMI, IKMF, KMG or other reputable Krav Maga Instructor Diploma is not enough to become an instructor at Combat Club. All team members are carefully selected after many years of training, testing and screening.
Instructors are also required to have an instructor license obtained by regular training, teaching hours and they also need to have completed all continuation training and education obligations. Combat Club’s lead instructors have between 10 to 30 years of training and teaching experience and are vetted at the highest levels in Israel and the US.
